An artist from the beginning

I have been an artist my whole life. Im just a continuation of my mother who has also been an artist her whole life. See Marcia Pensa-Snelgrove’s work here.

It has only been in the last 5 years that I have been giving my oil paintings the major push they deserve. My 15 year career as a tattoo artist has been incredibly demanding of my creative time and space, and it is also a huge influence on my art. The nature of my work demands self discipline, study, and actualization that I know will serve me in my painting career.

My aim is to integrate my art into intimate public spaces, such as restaurants and bars, where they can be part of the sensory experience of those environments. The unhurried enjoyment of art, without the expectation of commodification is the introduction my art wants to make to the world.
